Christmas is almost upon us and we find ourselves saying ‘Ho Ho…Oh No!’ as we are all scrambling around to buy last minute presents which we swore we wouldn’t do again after last year (oops!). As 2022 comes to a close we have had time to reflect on another successful year at Gambit Nash and how grateful we all are for each other’s hard work.
The Team Grows!
This year Gambit Nash welcomed.. Well.. Me! In June 2022 I joined the GN team fulfilling the role of account manager and Digital Marketing apprentice. These past 6 months have been incredibly rewarding and I have had the opportunity to grow and develop new and old skills. My background comes from creative media studies which I studied at the City of Oxford College where I achieved a triple distinction upon completion. I cannot wait to see what 2023 will bring and I am so happy to be working alongside such a great bunch of chaps!
We Venture Out!
After almost 3 years of COVID-19, this has been the first year that we have felt more confident about venturing out and scheduling some very overdue client visits. Many a pub lunch has been consumed as we have travelled to places such as York, Great Malvern and Northampton. We continue to primarily work from home which has been a blessing and a curse. For one there are no more massive tea rounds to test our memories before the first coffee has kicked in. But on the flip side there is no one to make us one! However, we still make a point to venture into the office occasionally (mainly for me to force others to be in my TikToks!). Granted these days aren’t the most productive, we do like a natter! But you cannot put a price on human contact and having a good laugh with your colleagues after almost 3 years of isolation. Mental wellbeing is a passion for many of us here at Gambit Nash and we want to make sure all of our staff have the support they need.
Christmas Party!
We recently had the annual Gambit Nash Christmas party which was left to me to organise (eep!). Plenty of delicious food was consumed and festive drinks arrived in abundance. This year we celebrated in Worcester as we battled through the mass crowds attending the Victorian Christmas Market to make it from place to place.
I suppose I had better wrap this up now, as lovely as it has been to reflect and sing the praises of our fantastic team!
Our office will be closing for the Christmas season on Wednesday 21st December at 17:00. We will be back and ready to roll on Tuesday 3rd January 2023.
