Facebook Live is a new video feature that was rolled out in February 2016 and offers users real-time streaming video capabilities, with the aim to compete with Twitter’s Periscope live-video streaming app.
Facebook’s Live Map is a new interactive feature that makes it easy to find live streams from around the world based on their location. Streams are visualized as blue dots; larger dots indicate streams with a lot of views. Simply Hovering over a dot launches the stream and will show you where viewers are watching said stream are from.

This may cause concern to some who are worried about their privacy, however Facebook maintain that this will not be an issue by keeping location privacy of both streamers and viewers is protected by not disclosing their exact locations.
You can access this feature on the left navigation bar in your Facebook timeline.
