Instagram The New Look
Instagram has changed it’s design and logo after five years. This is probably the biggest change in the social network’s history. However do not worry, if you like how the app looks and feels now, it’s not going to change to much. If you read the quote below this is what Instagram had to say on the matter.

“Today we’re introducing a new look. You’ll see an updated icon and app design. The new design represents a simpler camera and the rainbow lives on in gradient form. You’ll also see updated icons for our other creative apps: Layout, Boomerang and Hyperlapse. We’ve made improvements to how the Instagram app looks on the inside as well. The simpler design puts more focus on your photos and videos without changing how you navigate the app.

What We Think
There is one thing that the internet has taught us and that is people do not like change, no matter how small or big, people like familiarity and usually go off it is isn’t broke don’t fix it terminology. However I think this is a good move for Instagram proving if you want to stay relevant and up to date you have to be constantly evolving and adapting to keep people interested. However I personally think this design change would of been great to do when Facebook bought the photo sharing social network back in 2012.
